Butcher Bird Robs Gold Coast Wagyu Burger Tucked So Far Into The Back Corners That Even The Crew Needed A Survey Before Scoring It 19 From 30

On The Boom

GOLD COAST — Twenty-four dollars, not much on the plate, and a bird that wanted it more than the bloke paying. That is the full invoice on a wagyu burger from Cafe Junie, tucked so far into the back corners of the Gold Coast that it needed a survey crew to find it, and it walked away from the sitting with a score of 19 out of 30.

Noah opened Fork Around & Find Out Ep. 3 by calling it the most tucked away burger place he has ever seen in his life, then took the glasses off, called the wagyu-ness cheesy and ripped straight in. The onion got a nod. Then a butcher bird landed on the table, took a bite out of the meat and the whole review changed hands. "He's a butcher," Noah ruled, and the bird has since been seen eating better than anyone who pays rent in the area.

The mates off camera were not gentle either. One of them got told to shut the fuck up mid-sentence, which is the exact tone of every smoko when someone starts explaining the menu.

The scoreboard reads 7 out of 10 for taste, 6 for value and a flat "don't think you'll find me here" on the return visit, unless he is in the area. One linehand who watched the whole thing said twenty-four bucks for a burger you could read a newspaper through is the same deal as a long pipe run: heaps of setup, not enough cube.

Nobody asked the bird for a score, which makes it the only review that cost nothing.

Satire, obviously.PumpLife is a satirical publication about the concrete pumping and concrete industry. The stories here are made up for a laugh and are not statements of fact. Any resemblance to a real operator, concreter, pump or smoko is a coincidence.
