Wealthy Southport Developer Temporarily Cosplays As Tradie To "Give Back" On Final Workday Of 2025

SOUTHPORT, QLD — One of Southport's wealthiest men, owner/head developer Mr Fryar, was praised for "ground-level leadership" after spending the final workday of 2025 rubbing shoulders with his own trades. He arrived dressed like a regular worker and announced he'd be "jumping in for the day." "He said it's good to give back to the boys that give him the lifestyle he deserves." He removed his jacket, grabbed the kit, and made a visible effort to show "Daddy's still got it." Later he ran "down the road" in his new Ferrari to secure bacon and egg rolls for the crew — "He said he'd be back in five. He came back faster than the apprentice." The move reinforced his standing: showing up, feeding the boys, and disappearing again before anything went wrong.

Satire, obviously.PumpLife is a satirical publication about the concrete pumping and concrete industry. The stories here are made up for a laugh and are not statements of fact. Any resemblance to a real operator, concreter, pump or smoko is a coincidence.
