Jagcor Lays More Pipe Than Bonnie Blue Could Handle
Share
Last Friday the boys at Jagcor rolled into work and casually chose to run 360 metres of pipe to push 200 cube, because sometimes doing it the hard way is actually the right way.
No dramas.
No shortcuts.
Just a crew looking at the job and saying, “Yeah nah, this is how it’s gotta be done.”
Pipe kept getting added.
Someone definitely said “this’ll be the last stick” at least six times.
And by the time it was all laid out, there was more hose on thePU ground than most blokes have seen in a lifetime.
Was it big?
Absolutely.
Was it unnecessary?
Not even close.
This was one of those pours where:
-
access is shit
-
boom isn’t an option
-
and line pump earns its keep
So the boys did what line crews do best — set it up properly and get on with it.
The banter was flowing early.
“How much pipe is that?”
“Too much.”
“Add another one.”
Someone in the comments reckoned it’d need a 44-drum slurry mix, which the lads probably laughed at while already halfway through doing exactly what needed doing.
End of the day:
-
200 cube went in
-
360m of pipe came out
-
no heroics, no bullshit
-
just a solid crew backing themselves
That’s not stupidity — that’s experience.
Sometimes laying more pipe than Bonnie Blue could handle isn’t a joke…
it’s just the job.
Respect to the Jagcor boys 👊
